CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The salon is open to both amateur and professional photographers from around the world. Entrants must be the authors of the works they submit. Each participant may submit up to four photographs per section. The organizer reserves the right to use exhibited works for reproduction in the catalogue and for promotional purposes without any fee. All sections are digital.

ENTRY FEE
The first two sections are 25 EUR, and each additional one is 5 EUR.
Possible ways of payment is: PayPal.
The author should log in to his registered account and choose the preferred payment method. Discount for Group entries from 10 authors is 20%.

Authors must complete the entry form and submit their photos online.
Images (JPG files) can be uploaded directly via our website: https://rheincircuit.com/entry-form

IMAGE SIZE
Dimension: Maximum horizontal length 1920 pixels, vertical 1080 pixels.
File size: should not exceed 2 MB per image.

IMAGE FILE NAMING
Each image must have a unique title with maximum 35 characters.
File name should be as you would want it to appear in the catalogue (same as title name).
Please use only letters (A–Z, a–z) and numbers (0–9), and do not use accents or other characters. Titles may not consist solely of numbers or camera capture filenames.

JUDGING METHOD
The judges will Award the Acceptances, Medals and Honorable Mentions of the entered images. The one who has achieved the highest number of total acceptances of all the sections of the salon added together will be proclaimed “FIAP best author”.
- Judges would use Full HD Display 1080P (1920 x 1080).
- The acceptance rate can be up to 30%.
- The judging will be held that each jury vote for each image from 1 to 10 points.
- The score of accepted images is counted by sum of all jury member points together.
- No image may receive more than one individual award in a section, but in circuits an image may receive an award in different salon sections.

FIAP Nature Definition
Content Guidelines
Nature photography records all branches of natural history except anthropology and archaeology. This includes all aspects of the physical world, both over water and underwater.
Nature images must convey the truth of the scene. A well-informed person should be able to identify the subject of the image and be satisfied that it has been presented honestly and that no unethical practices have been used to control the subject or capture the image. Images that directly or indirectly show any human activity threatening a living organism's life or welfare are not allowed.

The most important part of a Nature image is the nature story it tells. High technical standards are expected, and the image must look natural.

Objects created by humans, and evidence of human activity, are allowed in Nature images only when they are a necessary part of the Nature story.
Photographs of human-created hybrid plants, cultivated plants, feral animals, domesticated animals, human-created hybrid animals, and mounted or preserved zoological specimens are not allowed.
Photographs made where the scene is natural and the animal is unharmed in a carefully managed environment, such as Zoo, rescue centers, and ethically managed natural environment farms are permitted.
Attracting or controlling subjects through the use of food or sound for the purpose of photographing them is not allowed. Maintained situations such as provided supplemental food due to hardship caused by weather conditions or other conditions beyond the animals' control, where photography is incidental to the feeding of the animal does not fall under this provision.
Controlling live subjects by chilling, anaesthetic, or any other method of restricting natural movement for a photograph is not allowed.
Human-made elements shall be permitted under the following circumstances.

a) When they are an integral part of the nature story, such as a songbird singing atop a fence post a manmade object used as nest material, or a weather phenomenon destroying a man-made structure.
b) When they are a small but unavoidable part of the scene, such as an unobtrusive footprint or track in the background.
c) Scientific tags, collars, and bands are specifically allowed.

When photographing at a zoo, sanctuary, or rehabilitation centre, it would be construed that the photographer ensured that it’s properly accredited and conforms to best practices.

Editing Guidelines:
Processing or editing must be limited to making the image look as close to the original scene as possible, except that conversion to grayscale monochrome is allowed.

Allowed editing techniques:

Cropping, straightening and perspective correction
Removal or correction of elements added by the camera or lens, such as dust spots, noise, chromatic aberration and lens distortion
Global and selective adjustments such as brightness, hue, saturation and contrast to restore the appearance of the original scene
Complete conversion of colour images to grayscale monochrome
Blending of multiple images of the same subject and combining them in camera or with software (exposure blending or focus stacking)
Image stitching - combining multiple images with overlapping fields of view that are taken consecutively (panoramas).

Editing techniques that are not allowed:

Removing, adding to, moving or changing any part of an image, except for cropping and
Adding a vignette during processing
Blurring parts of the image during processing to hide elements in the original scene
Darkening parts of the image during processing to hide elements in the original scene
All conversions other than to complete grayscale monochrome
Conversion of parts of an image to monochrome, or partial toning, desaturation or over-saturation of colour.

FIAP Monochrome Definition
A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black and white work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black and white category; such a work can be reproduced in black and white in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage. On the other hand a black and white work modified by a partial toning or by the addition of one colour becomes a colour work (polychrome) to stand in the colour category; such a work requires colour reproduction in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage.

Greyscale Monochrome images may be entered for Nature, Photojournalism and Photo Travel but toned images are not permitted for these sections.

PEOPLE Definition
Show people in all situations, such as daily life, street photography, traditions, portrait, people at work, social events, human relations and etc. The main subject in the photo must be one or more humans.

FIAP Rules
By the sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the participant accepts without exception and with no objection that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to establish if these obey to FIAP regulations and definitions even if the participant is not a member of FIAP; that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking; that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP or any refusal to submit the original files as captured by the camera, or failure to provide sufficient evidence, will be sanctioned by FIAP and that in case of sanctions following the non compliance with FIAP regulations, the name of the participant will be released in any form useful to inform the breaches of the rules. It is recommended to leave the EXIF data in the submitted files intact in order to ease eventual investigations

The mention that by the sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the entrant accepts without exception and with no objection the following terms:
- that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to establish if these obey to FIAP regulations and definitions even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP,
- that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking,

It is recommended to leave the EXIF data in the submitted files intact in order to ease eventual investigations. If, at any time, it is determined in the reasonable discretion of the exhibition organizer or the judges before, during, or after the judging of an exhibition that an entrant has submitted entries where one or more images may fail to comply with these Conditions of Entry, including the stated definitions, the exhibition organizers reserve the right to delete the entry from the exhibition and void any or all acceptances or awards in connection with the exhibition. Fees may be forfeited or refunded in these circumstances. The entrant acknowledges that the decision of the exhibition organizers or the judges is final.

Pictures created by artificial intelligence are not allowed in this salon! All the parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all works submitted. Offenders will be sanctioned for life!

Permitted AI-enhanced editing (Note 1 below) and prohibited (Note 2 below).

1. Permitted AI-enhanced editing: includes editing tools that perform
transformations, enhancements, or corrections based exclusively on the existing pixel
data captured in the author's original photograph without introducing externally sourced
content.

2. Prohibited AI editing: includes any AI-assisted processes for synthetic image
generation that incorporate external image data, visual elements, textures, objects, or
scenes not originally present in the author’s photograph are prohibited.

FIAP NOTICE: When an entrant fills in the Entry Form to submit an entry the entrant will see a feature to affirm he or she has read these Conditions of Entry when he or she fills out the entry form. If the entrant does not so affirm the entry will not be submitted.

Der Salon steht sowohl Amateur- als auch Berufsfotografen aus aller Welt offen. Die Teilnehmer müssen die Urheber der eingereichten Werke sein. Jeder Teilnehmer darf pro Sektion bis zu vier Fotografien einreichen. Der Veranstalter behält sich das Recht vor, ausgestellte Werke für die Reproduktion im Katalog und zu Werbezwecken ohne jegliche Vergütung zu verwenden. Alle Sektionen sind digital.

BILDGRÖSSE
Maximale horizontale Länge 1920 Pixel, vertikale 1080 Pixel.
Dateien sollten 2 MB pro Bild nicht überschreiten.

BILDBENENNUNG
Jedes Bild muss einen eindeutigen Titel mit maximal 35 Zeichen haben.
Der Dateiname sollte so sein, wie er im Katalog erscheinen soll (gleich wie der Titel).
Nur Buchstaben (A–Z, a–z) und Zahlen (0–9) verwenden, keine Akzente oder Sonderzeichen. Titel dürfen nicht ausschliesslich aus Zahlen oder Dateinamen von Kameras bestehen.

BEWERTUNGSMETHODE
Die Juroren vergeben Annahmen, Medaillen und Ehrenvolle Erwähnungen für die eingereichten Bilder. Der Teilnehmer, der die höchste Gesamtzahl an Annahmen über alle Salonsektionen hinweg erreicht, wird als „FIAP Best Author“ ausgezeichnet.
- Die Juroren verwenden ein Full-HD-Display 1080P (1920×1080).
- Die Akzeptanzrate kann bis zu 30 % betragen.
- Die Bewertung erfolgt so, dass jedes Jurymitglied jedem Bild von 1 bis 10 Punkte gibt.
- Die Punktzahl der angenommenen Bilder ergibt sich aus der Summe aller Jurymitgliederpunkte.
- Kein Bild darf in einer Sektion mehr als eine einzelne Auszeichnung erhalten; in Circuit-Salons kann ein Bild jedoch in verschiedenen Salons oder Sektionen ausgezeichnet werden.

Inhaltsrichtlinien
Die Naturfotografie dokumentiert alle Bereiche der Naturgeschichte mit Ausnahme der Anthropologie und Archäologie. Dies umfasst alle Aspekte der physischen Welt, sowohl über als auch unter Wasser. Naturaufnahmen müssen die Wahrheit der Szene widerspiegeln. Eine sachkundige Person sollte in der Lage sein, das Motiv des Bildes zu identifizieren und sicherzustellen, dass es ehrlich präsentiert wurde und keine unethischen Praktiken angewendet wurden, um das Motiv zu beeinflussen oder das Bild aufzunehmen. Bilder, die direkt oder indirekt eine menschliche Aktivität zeigen, die das Leben oder Wohl eines lebenden Organismus bedroht, sind nicht erlaubt.

Das wichtigste Element eines Naturbildes ist die erzählte Naturgeschichte. Es werden hohe technische Standards erwartet, und das Bild muss natürlich wirken.

Von Menschen geschaffene Objekte und Hinweise auf menschliche Aktivitäten sind in Naturbildern nur dann erlaubt, wenn sie ein notwendiger Bestandteil der Naturgeschichte sind.
Fotografien von vom Menschen erschaffenen Hybridpflanzen, kultivierten Pflanzen, verwilderten Tieren, domestizierten Tieren, von Menschen erschaffenen Hybridtieren sowie montierten oder konservierten zoologischen Präparaten sind nicht erlaubt.
Fotografien, bei denen die Szene natürlich ist und das Tier in einer kontrollierten Umgebung wie einem Zoo, einem Rettungszentrum oder einer ethisch geführten Naturschutzfarm nicht zu Schaden kommt, sind erlaubt.
Das Anlocken oder Kontrollieren von Motiven durch Futter oder Geräusche zum Zweck der Fotografie ist nicht gestattet. Situationen, in denen Tiere zusätzlich gefüttert werden, weil Wetterbedingungen oder andere unkontrollierbare Faktoren dies erforderlich machen und die Fotografie dabei nur zufällig erfolgt, fallen nicht unter dieses Verbot.
Die Kontrolle lebender Motive durch Kälte, Anästhetika oder andere Methoden zur Einschränkung der natürlichen Bewegung für ein Foto ist nicht erlaubt.Menschliche -
Elemente sind unter folgenden Bedingungen erlaubt:

a) Wenn sie ein integraler Bestandteil der Naturgeschichte sind, beispielsweise ein Singvogel auf einem Zaunpfahl, ein vom Menschen hergestelltes Objekt als Nistmaterial oder ein Wetterphänomen, das eine vom Menschen geschaffene Struktur zerstört.
b) Wenn sie ein kleiner, aber unvermeidlicher Teil der Szene sind, z. B. ein unauffälliger Fußabdruck oder eine Spur im Hintergrund.
c) Wissenschaftliche Markierungen, Halsbänder und Bänder sind ausdrücklich erlaubt.

Beim Fotografieren in Zoos, Schutzgebieten oder Rehabilitationszentren wird vorausgesetzt, dass der Fotograf sicherstellt, dass diese ordnungsgemäß akkreditiert sind und den besten Praktiken entsprechen.

Bearbeitungsrichtlinien

Die Bildbearbeitung muss darauf beschränkt sein, das Bild so nah wie möglich an die Originalszene anzupassen. Die Umwandlung in Graustufen-Monochrom ist jedoch erlaubt.

Erlaubte Bearbeitungstechniken:

Zuschneiden, Begradigen und Perspektivenkorrektur
Entfernung oder Korrektur von durch die Kamera oder das Objektiv hinzugefügten Elementen wie Staubflecken, Bildrauschen, chromatischen Aberrationen und Objektivverzerrungen
Globale und selektive Anpassungen von Helligkeit, Farbton, Sättigung und Kontrast zur Wiederherstellung des Erscheinungsbildes der Originalszene
Vollständige Umwandlung von Farbbildern in Graustufen-Monochrom
Überblendung mehrerer Aufnahmen desselben Motivs durch In-Kamera- oder Software-Kombination (Belichtungsüberblendung oder Fokus-Stacking)
Bildstitching – Kombination mehrerer Bilder mit überlappenden Bildbereichen, die nacheinander aufgenommen wurden (Panoramen)

Nicht erlaubte Bearbeitungstechniken:

Entfernen, Hinzufügen, Verschieben oder Ändern eines Teils des Bildes (außer beim Zuschneiden und Begradigen)
Hinzufügen einer Vignette während der Bearbeitung
Weichzeichnen von Bildbereichen zur Verdeckung von Elementen in der Originalszene
Abdunkeln von Bildbereichen zur Verdeckung von Elementen in der Originalszene
Alle Umwandlungen außer vollständiger Graustufen-Monochrom-Umwandlung
Teilweise Umwandlung eines Bildes in Monochrom oder partielle Farbtonung, Entsättigung oder Übersättigung von Farben

FIAP Monochrom Definition
Ein schwarz-weißes Werk, das von einem sehr dunklen Grau (schwarz) bis zu einem sehr hellen Grau (weiß) reicht, ist ein monochromes Werk mit verschiedenen Grautönen. Ein vollständig in einer einzigen Farbe getontes Schwarz-Weiß-Werk bleibt ein monochromes Werk, das in die Kategorie Schwarz-Weiß eingeordnet werden kann; ein solches Werk kann im Katalog eines Salons unter FIAP-Patronat in Schwarz-Weiß reproduziert werden. Dagegen wird ein schwarz-weißes Werk, das durch eine Teiltonung oder die Hinzufügung einer Farbe verändert wurde, zu einem farbigen Werk (polychrom), das in die Kategorie Farbe fällt; ein solches Werk muss in einem Katalog eines Salons unter FIAP-Patronat in Farbe reproduziert werden.

Graustufen Monochrombilder dürfen in den Kategorien Nature, Photojournalism und Photo Travel eingereicht werden, jedoch sind getönte Bilder in diesen Kategorien nicht zulässig.

PEOPLE Definition
Zeigen Sie Menschen in allen Situationen, z. B. Alltagsleben, Strassenfotografie, Traditionen, Porträts, Menschen bei der Arbeit, gesellschaftliche Ereignisse, menschliche Beziehungen usw. Das Hauptmotiv auf dem Foto muss ein oder mehrere Menschen sein.

FIAP Regeln
Mit der Übermittlung seiner Bilder oder Dateien an einen Salon unter dem Patronat der FIAP akzeptiert der Teilnehmer ausnahmslos und ohne Widerspruch, dass die übermittelten Bilder von der FIAP untersucht werden können, um festzustellen, ob sie den Vorschriften und Definitionen der FIAP entsprechen, auch wenn der Teilnehmer nicht Mitglied der FIAP ist; dass die FIAP alle ihr zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel für dieses Unterfangen einsetzen wird; dass jede Weigerung, mit der FIAP zusammenzuarbeiten, oder jede Weigerung, die von der Kamera aufgenommenen Originaldateien vorzulegen, oder das Versäumnis, ausreichende Beweise zu liefern, von der FIAP sanktioniert wird, und dass im Falle von Sanktionen aufgrund der Nichteinhaltung der FIAP-Vorschriften der Name des Teilnehmers in jeder Form veröffentlicht wird, die geeignet ist, über die Verstöße gegen die Regeln zu informieren. Es wird empfohlen, die EXIF-Daten in den eingereichten Dateien intakt zu lassen, um eventuelle Untersuchungen zu erleichtern.

Der Hinweis, dass der Teilnehmer allein durch die Einreichung seiner Bilder oder Dateien bei einem Salon unter dem Patronat der FIAP die folgenden Bedingungen ausnahmslos und ohne Einwände akzeptiert: - dass die eingereichten Bilder von der FIAP untersucht werden können, um festzustellen, ob sie den Vorschriften und Definitionen der FIAP entsprechen, auch wenn der Teilnehmer nicht Mitglied der FIAP ist, - dass die FIAP alle ihr zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel für dieses Unterfangen einsetzen wird, - dass jede Verweigerung der Zusammenarbeit mit der FIAP oder jede Weigerung, die Originaldateien, wie sie von der Kamera aufgenommen wurden, einzureichen dass im Falle von Sanktionen aufgrund der Nichteinhaltung der FIAP-Vorschriften der Name des Teilnehmers in jeder Form veröffentlicht wird, die geeignet ist, über die Verstöße gegen die Regeln zu informieren.

Es wird empfohlen, die EXIF-Daten in den eingereichten Dateien intakt zu lassen, um eventuelle Untersuchungen zu erleichtern. Wenn zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt vor, während oder nach der Bewertung einer Ausstellung nach billigem Ermessen des Ausstellungsorganisators oder der Preisrichter festgestellt wird, dass ein Teilnehmer Beiträge eingereicht hat, bei denen ein oder mehrere Bilder möglicherweise nicht mit diesen Teilnahmebedingungen, einschließlich der angegebenen Definitionen, übereinstimmen, behalten sich die Ausstellungsorganisatoren das Recht vor, den Beitrag aus der Ausstellung zu löschen und alle Annahmen oder Preise im Zusammenhang mit der Ausstellung zu annullieren. Die Gebühren können unter diesen Umständen einbehalten oder zurückerstattet werden. Der Teilnehmer akzeptiert, dass die Entscheidung der Ausstellungsorganisatoren oder der Jury endgültig ist.

Von künstlicher Intelligenz erstellte Bilder sind in diesem Salon nicht erlaubt! Alle Teile des Bildes müssen vom Autor fotografiert werden, der das Urheberrecht aller eingereichten Werke besitzt. Verstöße werden lebenslang bestraft!

Zulässige KI-unterstützte Bearbeitung (siehe Hinweis 1 unten) und verbotene KI-Bearbeitung (siehe Hinweis 2 unten).

Zulässige KI-unterstützte Bearbeitung: umfasst Bearbeitungswerkzeuge, die Transformationen, Verbesserungen oder Korrekturen ausschliesslich auf der Grundlage der vorhandenen Pixeldaten durchführen, die im ursprünglichen Foto des Autors erfasst wurden, ohne extern bezogene Inhalte einzuführen.
Verbotene KI-Bearbeitung: umfasst alle KI-unterstützten Prozesse zur synthetischen Bilderzeugung, bei denen externe Bilddaten, visuelle Elemente, Texturen, Objekte oder Szenen einbezogen werden, die im ursprünglichen Foto des Autors nicht vorhanden waren; diese sind untersagt.

Wenn ein Teilnehmer das Teilnahmeformular ausfüllt, um einen Beitrag einzureichen, sieht er oder sie eine Funktion, mit der bestätigt wird, dass diese Teilnahmebedingungen gelesen wurden. Gibt der Teilnehmer oder die Teilnehmerin diese Bestätigung nicht ab, erfolgt keine Einreichung.

Chaque participant peut soumettre jusqu’à quatre photographies par section. L’organisateur se réserve le droit d’utiliser les œuvres exposées pour la reproduction dans le catalogue et à des fins promotionnelles sans aucun paiement. Toutes les sections sont numériques.

TAILLE DE L’IMAGELongueur maximale horizontale : 1920 pixels, verticale : 1080 pixels. Taille du fichier : ne doit pas dépasser 2 Mo par image.

INTITULÉ DES FICHIERS D'IMAGE
Chaque image doit avoir un titre unique de maximum 35 caractères.
Le nom du fichier doit correspondre à celui du titre, tel qu'il apparaîtra dans le catalogue (identique au titre). Utilisez uniquement des lettres (A–Z, a–z) et des chiffres (0–9), pas d’accents ni de caractères spéciaux. Les titres ne peuvent pas se composer uniquement de chiffres ou de noms de fichiers issus de la capture de l’appareil photo.

METHODE DE JUGEMENT
Les juges attribueront les acceptations, les médailles et les mentions honorables aux images soumises. Celui qui aura obtenu le plus grand nombre total d’acceptations dans toutes les sections du salon sera proclamé « meilleur auteur FIAP ».

- Les juges utiliseront un écran Full HD 1080P (1920x1080).
- Le taux d’acceptation peut atteindre 30 %.
- Le jugement se fera en attribuant à chaque image une note de 1 à 10 par chaque membre du jury.
- Le score des images acceptées est calculé par la somme des points de tous les membres du jury.
- Aucune image ne peut recevoir plus d’un prix individuel dans une section, mais dans les circuits, une image peut recevoir un prix dans différentes sections du salon.

Définition FIAP de la Nature
Directives de contenu
La photographie de nature enregistre toutes les branches de l’histoire naturelle, à l’exception de l’anthropologie et de l’archéologie. Cela inclut tous les aspects du monde physique, à la fois au-dessus de l’eau et sous l’eau. Les images de nature doivent refléter la vérité de la scène. Une personne bien informée doit être capable d’identifier le sujet de l’image et être convaincue qu’il a été présenté honnêtement, sans utilisation de pratiques contraires à l’éthique pour contrôler le sujet ou capturer l’image. Les images montrant directement ou indirectement une activité humaine mettant en danger la vie ou le bien-être d’un organisme vivant ne sont pas autorisées.
La partie la plus importante d’une image de nature est l’histoire que la nature raconte. Des standards techniques élevés sont attendus, et l’image doit paraître naturelle.

- Les objets créés par l’homme et les preuves d’activité humaine sont autorisés dans les images de nature uniquement lorsqu’ils font partie intégrante de l’histoire naturelle.
- Les photographies de plantes hybrides créées par l’homme, de plantes cultivées, d’animaux sauvages relâchés, d’animaux domestiques, d’animaux hybrides créés par l’homme, ainsi que d’échantillons zoologiques montés ou conservés ne sont pas autorisées.
- Les photographies prises dans des environnements naturels soigneusement gérés, où l’animal n’est pas blessé, comme les zoos, les centres de sauvetage ou les fermes naturelles éthiques, sont autorisées.
- Attirer ou contrôler les sujets par l’utilisation de nourriture ou de sons à des fins photographiques n’est pas autorisé. Les situations maintenues, comme la fourniture de nourriture complémentaire en raison de conditions météorologiques ou autres conditions indépendantes de la volonté des animaux, où la photographie est accessoire au nourrissage de l’animal, ne tombent pas sous cette restriction.
- Contrôler des sujets vivants par le froid, l’anesthésie ou toute autre méthode limitant leurs mouvements naturels pour une photographie n’est pas autorisé.
- Éléments créés par l’homme autorisés dans les circonstances suivantes :

a) Lorsqu’ils font partie intégrante de l’histoire naturelle, par exemple un oiseau chanteur perché sur un poteau, un objet fabriqué par l’homme utilisé comme matériau de nidification, ou un phénomène météorologique détruisant une structure artificielle.
b) Lorsqu’ils constituent une petite partie inévitable de la scène, comme une empreinte discrète en arrière-plan.
c) Les étiquettes scientifiques, colliers et bagues sont spécifiquement autorisés.

Lors de la photographie dans un zoo, un sanctuaire ou un centre de réhabilitation, il est entendu que le photographe s’assure que l’établissement est correctement accrédité et respecte les bonnes pratiques.

Directives de retouche :
Le traitement ou la retouche doit être limité à rendre l’image aussi proche que possible de la scène originale, sauf la conversion en monochrome en niveaux de gris qui est autorisée.

Techniques de retouche autorisées :

- Recadrage, redressement et correction de perspective
- Suppression ou correction d’éléments ajoutés par l’appareil ou l’objectif, tels que poussières, bruit, aberrations chromatiques et distorsion de l’objectif
- Ajustements globaux et sélectifs tels que luminosité, teinte, saturation et contraste pour restaurer l’apparence de la scène originale
- Conversion complète des images couleur en monochrome en niveaux de gris
- Fusion de plusieurs images du même sujet, combinées à la prise de vue ou avec un logiciel (fusion d’exposition ou empilement de mise au point)
- Assemblage d’images – combinaison de plusieurs images avec des champs de vue qui se chevauchent, prises consécutivement (panoramas)

Techniques de retouche non autorisées :

- Supprimer, ajouter, déplacer ou modifier une partie de l’image, sauf le recadrage
- Ajouter un vignettage pendant le traitement
- Flouter des parties de l’image pour cacher des éléments de la scène originale
- Assombrir des parties de l’image pour cacher des éléments de la scène originale
- Toutes les conversions autres que le monochrome complet en niveaux de gris
- Conversion partielle d’une image en monochrome, ton partiel, désaturation ou sursaturation des couleurs.

Définition du Monochrome FIAP
Une œuvre en noir et blanc allant du gris très foncé (noir) au gris très clair (blanc) est une œuvre monochrome comportant différentes nuances de gris. Une œuvre en noir et blanc entièrement tonifiée dans une seule couleur restera une œuvre monochrome pouvant être classée dans la catégorie noir et blanc ; une telle œuvre peut être reproduite en noir et blanc dans le catalogue d'un salon sous le patronage de la FIAP. En revanche, une œuvre en noir et blanc modifiée par une tonification partielle ou par l'ajout d'une couleur devient une œuvre en couleur (polychrome) et doit être classée dans la catégorie couleur ; une telle œuvre nécessite une reproduction en couleur dans le catalogue d'un salon sous le patronage de FIAP.

Les images monochromes en niveaux de gris peuvent être présentées dans les catégories Nature, Photojournalisme et Photo de Voyage, mais les images tonifiées ne sont pas autorisées dans ces sections.

Définition PERSONNE (PEOPLE)
Présentez des personnes dans toutes les situations, comme la vie quotidienne, la photographie de rue, les traditions, les portraits, les personnes au travail, les événements sociaux, les relations humaines, etc. Le sujet principal de la photo doit être une ou plusieurs personnes.

Règles FIAP
Par le simple acte de soumettre ses images ou fichiers à un salon sous le patronage de la FIAP, le participant accepte sans exception et sans objection que les images soumises puissent être examinées par la FIAP afin de vérifier si elles respectent les règlements et définitions de la FIAP, même si le participant n'est pas membre de la FIAP ; que la FIAP utilisera tous les moyens à sa disposition pour cette vérification ; que tout refus de coopérer avec la FIAP ou tout refus de soumettre les fichiers originaux tels que capturés par l'appareil photo, ou tout manquement à fournir des preuves suffisantes, sera sanctionné par la FIAP et qu'en cas de sanctions suite à la non-conformité aux règlements de la FIAP, le nom du participant sera publié sous toute forme utile pour informer des violations des règles. Il est recommandé de laisser les données EXIF dans les fichiers soumis intactes afin de faciliter d’éventuelles investigations.

La mention selon laquelle, par le simple acte de soumettre ses images ou fichiers à un salon sous le patronage de la FIAP, le participant accepte sans exception et sans objection les termes suivants :

que les images soumises peuvent être examinées par la FIAP afin de vérifier si elles respectent les règlements et définitions de la FIAP, même si le participant n'est pas membre de la FIAP,
que la FIAP utilisera tous les moyens à sa disposition pour cette vérification,
que tout refus de coopérer avec la FIAP ou tout refus de soumettre les fichiers originaux tels que capturés par l'appareil photo, ou tout manquement à fournir des preuves suffisantes, sera sanctionné par la FIAP,
qu'en cas de sanctions suite à la non-conformité aux règlements de la FIAP, le nom du participant sera publié sous toute forme utile pour informer des violations des règles.

Il est recommandé de laisser les données EXIF dans les fichiers soumis intactes afin de faciliter d’éventuelles investigations. Si, à tout moment, il est déterminé, à la discrétion raisonnable de l’organisateur de l’exposition ou des juges avant, pendant ou après l'évaluation de l’exposition, qu’un participant a soumis des œuvres pour lesquelles une ou plusieurs images ne respectent pas ces Conditions de Participation, y compris les définitions indiquées, les organisateurs de l’exposition se réservent le droit de supprimer la soumission de l’exposition et d'annuler toutes les acceptations ou récompenses en lien avec l’exposition. Les frais d'inscription peuvent alors être annulés ou remboursés dans ces circonstances. Le participant reconnaît que la décision des organisateurs de l’exposition ou des juges est irrévocable

Les images créées par intelligence artificielle ne sont pas autorisées dans ce salon ! Toutes les parties de l’image doivent être photographiées par l’auteur, qui détient les droits d’auteur de toutes les œuvres soumises. Les contrevenants seront sanctionnés à vie !

Édition assistée par IA autorisée (voir note 1 ci-dessous) et Édition assistée par IA interdite (voir note 2 ci-dessous).

Édition assistée par IA autorisée : comprend les outils de retouche qui effectuent des transformations, améliorations ou corrections basées exclusivement sur les données de pixels existantes capturées dans la photographie originale de l’auteur, sans introduire de contenus externes.

Édition assistée par IA interdite : comprend tout processus assisté par IA pour la génération d’images synthétiques incorporant des données d’images externes, des éléments visuels, des textures, des objets ou des scènes non présents à l’origine dans la photographie de l’auteur ; ces pratiques sont interdites.

AVIS FIAP : Lorsqu’un participant remplit le formulaire d’inscription pour soumettre une œuvre, il verra une option lui permettant de confirmer qu’il a lu les présentes Conditions de participation. Si le participant ne donne pas cette confirmation, la soumission ne sera pas effectuée.

DIMENSIONE DELL’IMMAGINE
Dimensioni: Massimo 1920 pixel orizzontali e 1080 pixel verticali.
Dimensione file: Non deve superare i 2MB per immagine.

DENOMINAZIONE DEI FILE IMMAGINE
Ogni immagine deve avere un titolo unico con un massimo di 35 caratteri.
Il nome del file deve essere come desiderato per apparire nel catalogo (uguale al nome del titolo). Usare solo lettere (A–Z, a–z) e numeri (0–9), niente accenti o caratteri speciali.
I titoli non possono consistere esclusivamente di numeri. I titoli non possono essere costituiti esclusivamente da numeri o dai nomi dei file generati dalla fotocamera.

METODO DI VALUTAZIONE
I giudici assegneranno le accettazioni, le medaglie e le menzioni d’onore alle immagini presentate. Colui che avrà ottenuto il maggior numero totale di accettazioni in tutte le sezioni del salon sarà proclamato “miglior autore FIAP”.
- I giudici utilizzeranno un display Full HD 1080P (1920x1080 px).
- Il tasso di accettazione può arrivare fino al 30 %.
- La valutazione avverrà con ogni giurato che assegnerà a ciascuna immagine un punteggio da 1 a 10.
- Il punteggio delle immagini accettate è calcolato sommando tutti i punti dei membri della giuria.
- Nessuna immagine può ricevere più di un premio individuale in una sezione, ma nei circuiti un’immagine può ricevere premi in diverse sezioni del salon.

Le conferme di invio delle iscrizioni e le schede di valutazione saranno inviate ai partecipanti. Assicurati che questo indirizzo email sia incluso nei tuoi indirizzi email “sicuri” per assicurarti di ricevere queste email e evitare che esse vengano bloccate dal sistema di sicurezza. Controlla anche la cartella della posta indesiderata o dello spam per verificare che il tuo software di posta elettronica non le abbia collocato lì.

CATALOGO E SPEDIZIONE DEI PREMI
Il Catalogo Best of Show HQ, che mostra principalmente le accettazioni e tutte le immagini premiate, sarà inviato via e-mail. Gli e-Diplomi, le e-Menzioni d’Onore e gli e-Certificati sono in formato PDF e saranno inviati via e-mail. Le medaglie saranno spedite per posta.

Definizione FIAP di Natura
Linee guida sui contenuti
La fotografia naturalistica documenta tutti i rami della storia naturale, ad eccezione dell’antropologia e dell’archeologia. Questo include tutti gli aspetti del mondo fisico, sia sopra l’acqua che sott’acqua. Le immagini naturalistiche devono trasmettere la verità della scena. Una persona ben informata dovrebbe essere in grado di identificare il soggetto dell’immagine e riconoscere che è stato presentato onestamente, senza l’uso di pratiche non etiche per controllare il soggetto o catturare l’immagine. Non sono consentite immagini che mostrino, direttamente o indirettamente, attività umane che mettano in pericolo la vita o il benessere di un organismo vivente.

La parte più importante di un’immagine naturalistica è la storia della natura che racconta. Sono richiesti elevati standard tecnici e l’immagine deve apparire naturale.
- Gli oggetti creati dall’uomo e le tracce di attività umana sono consentiti nelle immagini naturalistiche solo se rappresentano una parte necessaria della storia naturale.
- Non sono consentite fotografie di piante ibride create dall’uomo, piante coltivate, animali selvatici liberati, animali domestici, animali ibridi creati dall’uomo, né esemplari zoologici montati o conservati.
- Sono permesse fotografie scattate in ambienti naturali attentamente gestiti, dove l’animale non subisce danni, come zoo, centri di recupero e fattorie eticamente gestite.
- Non è consentito attirare o controllare i soggetti usando cibo o suoni a scopo fotografico. Situazioni gestite, come la somministrazione di cibo supplementare a causa di condizioni climatiche o altre circostanze al di fuori del controllo degli animali, in cui la fotografia è accessoria al nutrimento, non rientrano in questa restrizione.
- Non è consentito controllare soggetti vivi mediante raffreddamento, anestesia o altri metodi che limitino il movimento naturale per scattare una fotografia.
- Gli elementi creati dall’uomo sono consentiti nelle seguenti circostanze:

a) Quando fanno parte integrante della storia naturale, ad esempio un uccello canoro posato su un palo, un oggetto artificiale usato come materiale per il nido, o un fenomeno meteorologico che distrugge una struttura artificiale.
b) Quando costituiscono una piccola parte inevitabile della scena, come un’impronta discreta sullo sfondo.
c) Sono specificamente consentiti tag, collari e anelli scientifici.

Quando si fotografa in uno zoo, in un santuario o in un centro di riabilitazione, si presume che il fotografo abbia verificato che la struttura sia correttamente accreditata e rispetti le migliori pratiche.

Linee guida per la post-produzione:
Il trattamento o la modifica deve essere limitato a rendere l’immagine il più possibile simile alla scena originale, fatta eccezione per la conversione in bianco e nero in scala di grigi, che è consentita.

Tecniche di modifica consentite:
- Ritaglio, raddrizzamento e correzione della prospettiva
- Rimozione o correzione di elementi introdotti dalla fotocamera o dall’obiettivo, come polvere, rumore, aberrazioni cromatiche e distorsione dell’obiettivo
- Regolazioni globali e selettive come luminosità, tonalità, saturazione e contrasto per ripristinare l’aspetto della scena originale
- Conversione completa delle immagini a colori in bianco e nero in scala di grigi
- Fusione di più immagini dello stesso soggetto, combinandole in camera o con software (fusione di esposizione o focus stacking)
- Composizione di immagini – unione di più immagini con campi visivi sovrapposti scattate consecutivamente (panorami)

Tecniche di modifica non consentite:
- Rimuovere, aggiungere, spostare o modificare qualsiasi parte di un’immagine, salvo il ritaglio
- Aggiungere vignettatura durante il trattamento
- Sfocare parti dell’immagine per nascondere elementi della scena originale
- Oscurare parti dell’immagine per nascondere elementi della scena originale
- Tutte le conversioni diverse dal bianco e nero completo in scala di grigi
- Conversione parziale di un’immagine in bianco e nero, tonificazione parziale, desaturazione o sovra-saturazione dei colori.

Definizione FIAP Monocromatica
Un’opera in bianco e nero, che vada dal grigio molto scuro (nero) al grigio molto chiaro (bianco), è un’opera monocromatica con varie tonalità di grigio.
Un’opera in bianco e nero completamente tonificata in un unico colore resta un’opera monocromatica e può essere inserita nella categoria bianco e nero. Tuttavia, un’opera in bianco e nero modificata da una parziale tonificazione o dall'aggiunta di un colore diventa un’opera a colori (policromatica) e sarà inserita nella categoria colore.

Le immagini monocromatiche in scala di grigi possono essere inserite per Natura, Fotogiornalismo e Fotoviaggi, ma le immagini tonificate non sono ammesse per queste sezioni.

PEOPLE Definizione
Mostrare le persone in qualsiasi situazione, come la vita quotidiana, la fotografia di strada, le tradizioni, il ritratto, le persone al lavoro, gli eventi sociali, le relazioni umane e così via. Il soggetto principale della foto deve essere uno o più esseri umani.

Regole FIAP
Con il solo atto di inviare le proprie immagini o file a un salone sotto il patrocinio FIAP, il partecipante accetta senza eccezioni e senza obiezioni che le immagini inviate possano essere sottoposte a indagini da parte di FIAP per verificare la conformità ai regolamenti e alle definizioni FIAP, anche se il partecipante non è membro di FIAP; che FIAP utilizzerà qualsiasi mezzo a sua disposizione per tale scopo; che qualsiasi rifiuto di collaborare con FIAP o di fornire i file originali catturati dalla fotocamera o il mancato invio di prove sufficienti sarà sanzionato da FIAP; e che, in caso di sanzioni per mancato rispetto delle regole FIAP, il nome del partecipante sarà reso pubblico in qualsiasi forma utile per informare il pubblico sulle violazioni delle regole. Si raccomanda di lasciare intatti i dati EXIF nei file inviati per facilitare eventuali indagini.

Con il solo atto di inviare le proprie immagini o file a un salone sotto il patrocinio FIAP, il partecipante accetta senza eccezioni e senza obiezioni i seguenti termini:
- che le immagini inviate possano essere sottoposte a indagini da parte di FIAP per verificare la conformità ai regolamenti e alle definizioni FIAP, anche se il partecipante non è membro di FIAP;
- che FIAP utilizzerà qualsiasi mezzo a sua disposizione per tale scopo;
- che qualsiasi rifiuto di collaborare con FIAP, o di fornire i file originali come catturati dalla fotocamera, o il mancato invio di prove sufficienti, sarà sanzionato da FIAP;
- che, in caso di sanzioni per mancato rispetto delle normative FIAP, il nome del partecipante sarà reso pubblico in qualsiasi forma utile per informare sulle violazioni delle regole.

Si raccomanda di lasciare intatti i dati EXIF nei file inviati per facilitare eventuali indagini.
Se, in qualsiasi momento, a discrezione degli organizzatori della mostra o dei giudici, prima, durante o dopo la valutazione di una mostra, si stabilisce che un partecipante ha presentato opere che potrebbero non rispettare le Condizioni di Partecipazione, incluse le definizioni dichiarate, gli organizzatori della mostra si riservano il diritto di eliminare l'iscrizione dalla mostra e annullare qualsiasi accettazione o premio collegato. In tali circostanze, le quote versate potrebbero essere trattenute o non rimborsate. Il partecipante riconosce che la decisione degli organizzatori della mostra o dei giudici è definitiva.

Le immagini create dall’intelligenza artificiale non sono ammesse nelle Biennali FIAP! Tutte le parti dell’immagine devono essere fotografate dall’autore, che detiene i diritti d’autore di tutte le opere inviate. I trasgressori saranno sanzionati a vita!

Modifiche assistite da IA consentite (vedi Nota 1 sotto) e modifiche assistite da IA proibite (vedi Nota 2 sotto).

Modifiche assistite da IA consentite: includono strumenti di modifica che effettuano trasformazioni, miglioramenti o correzioni basati esclusivamente sui dati pixel esistenti catturati nella fotografia originale dell’autore, senza introdurre contenuti esterni.
Modifiche assistite da IA proibite: includono qualsiasi processo assistito da IA per la generazione di immagini sintetiche che incorpori dati di immagini esterni, elementi visivi, texture, oggetti o scene non presenti originariamente nella fotografia dell’autore; tali pratiche sono proibite.

AVVISO FIAP: Quando un partecipante compila il modulo di iscrizione per inviare un’opera, vedrà una funzione che gli/le consentirà di confermare di aver letto le presenti Condizioni di Partecipazione. Se il partecipante non fornisce tale conferma, l’opera non verrà inviata.
